Message From Our President

Hii! my name is Kristen Leong, my pronouns are she/her and I'm the 2022-2023 president of Chi Delta Theta. I'm an incoming 3rd year Biopsychology major and I joined chidelts because I went through Covid when I first started school, I wanted to find a group of girls that I could become close with and an org to call my home away from home. I feel like I found exactly what i hoped for and more with chidelts and that’s why I wanted to be president: to lead and further share the experience with more potential members in their college years.

History

Chi Delta Theta Sorority Inc. is an Asian-American & Multicultural interest sorority that was established on October 13,1989 at the University of California at Santa Barbara by founding mothers Alison Suto-Stripling and Joanne Yamaoka Kato.

Over the past thirty years, Chi Delta Theta has expanded to include seven other chapters with over a hundred active sisters spanning throughout California. Chidelts strive to promote friendship, communication, cultural awareness, and social activity among university women. These goals are reflected in our five pillars - family, community service, cultural awareness, academics, and social activity.
