Phi Lambda Rho was founded on the ideology of Flor de Aztlán, a flower that blooms in a spiritual land of liberation that is free of discrimination. Our purpose is to provide a lifelong sisterhood based on facilitating the advancement of women of color through higher education. The mission we follow is giving back to our community, especially our marginalized youth, while celebrating and promoting the Chicana/Latina culture.
